Carbon Protocol (formerly Switcheo) is a Cosmos-based blockchain that provides trading infrastructure for decentralized applications. Initially launched as the Switcheo DEX on NEO blockchain in 2018, the project evolved into a Cosmos-based layer-2 trading engine supporting orderbook trading, AMM liquidity pools, perpetual futures, and cross-chain asset management. SWTH is the native token used for staking, governance, and fee payments. The Carbon blockchain powers the Demex DEX, enabling orderbook-style trading with DeFi speed and security.
