About 0x Protocol
0x Protocol (ZRX) is an open standard for decentralized exchange of Ethereum tokens. Rather than building a standalone DEX, 0x provides shared infrastructure that other projects can build upon — enabling relayers to host off-chain order books while settling trades on-chain. ZRX holders can stake tokens to earn liquidity rewards and participate in governance of the protocol. The 0x API aggregates liquidity from major DEXes including Uniswap, Curve, and Balancer, making it a key layer in the DeFi trading infrastructure stack.

How to Swap ZRX
Swapping 0x Protocol (ZRX) on SyntheticSwap is quick and requires no account or KYC. Since ZRX is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, any Ethereum-compatible wallet works — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, or Ledger Live. Open SyntheticSwap, select ZRX as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and review the floating exchange rate. Once you send ZRX to the deposit address provided, the destination asset is delivered directly to your wallet. The process is fully non-custodial — SyntheticSwap never holds your tokens at any point.
How to Store ZRX
ZRX (ERC-20) is stored in MetaMask, Ledger, Trezor, or any Ethereum wallet. For staking rewards, use the 0x staking portal with an Ethereum wallet. Hardware wallets are recommended for long-term storage.
