1. Service Description
SyntheticSwap ("the Service") provides a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange tool available at syntheticswap.io. The Service allows users to exchange one cryptocurrency for another by interacting with third-party liquidity infrastructure.
SyntheticSwap does not hold, store, or control user funds at any point during a swap. Funds flow directly between blockchain wallets through the exchange provider. SyntheticSwap acts solely as a coordination interface.
2. Eligibility
By using SyntheticSwap, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these terms under the laws of your jurisdiction
- Your use of this Service does not violate any laws or regulations applicable to you
- You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of a country subject to applicable sanctions
3. No KYC / No Registration
SyntheticSwap intentionally does not require identity verification (KYC) or user account registration. This design is intended to provide a frictionless experience while respecting user privacy.
The absence of mandatory KYC does not exempt users from their own legal obligations. Users remain solely responsible for complying with any identification, tax, or reporting requirements imposed by their jurisdiction with respect to cryptocurrency transactions.
4. Exchange Rates and Fees
SyntheticSwap uses floating exchange rates. The rate shown at the time you enter your swap parameters is an estimate. The final rate applied to your swap is determined at the moment your deposit is confirmed on-chain and processed by the liquidity provider.
Network fees are charged by the underlying blockchain networks, not by SyntheticSwap. These are passed through to the user and shown as estimates in the swap interface. Final fee amounts may vary.
SyntheticSwap may earn a service fee as part of the exchange rate offered by the liquidity provider. This is already reflected in the rate shown to you; there are no hidden charges applied after the fact.
5. Accuracy of Wallet Addresses
You are solely responsible for providing correct wallet addresses for both the destination address and any optional refund address. SyntheticSwap cannot reverse, cancel, or recover funds sent to an incorrect address once the transaction is broadcast on the blockchain.
Always verify wallet addresses carefully before confirming a swap. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature.
6. Swap Failures and Refunds
In cases where a swap cannot be completed — due to network congestion, provider issues, or funds received outside the valid range — the liquidity provider will attempt to return funds to the refund address you provided. If no refund address was provided and a refund is necessary, please contact us at support@syntheticswap.io with your swap ID.
SyntheticSwap does not guarantee the availability or completion of any swap. Blockchain networks and third-party liquidity providers operate independently of SyntheticSwap.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use SyntheticSwap to:
- Launder money or engage in any activities related to money laundering
- Finance terrorism or any sanctioned activities
- Circumvent any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Engage in fraud, deception, or market manipulation
- Use automated bots or scripts to abuse the service in ways that interfere with normal operation
- Exchange funds derived from illegal activity
We reserve the right to block access to the Service if we detect or are legally required to respond to prohibited activities, without prior notice.
8. Risks of Cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency exchange involves substantial risk. Market prices are highly volatile and can change rapidly. You acknowledge that:
- The value of cryptocurrencies may fluctuate significantly between the time you initiate and the time your swap completes
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
- Smart contract and protocol risks exist in all blockchain-based systems
- Network congestion may delay transaction confirmation times

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

All content, branding, design, and software on syntheticswap.io are the property of SyntheticSwap and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
11. Third-Party Services
SyntheticSwap uses a third-party liquidity provider as its exchange infrastructure. Your use of the Service implies acceptance of the liquidity provider's terms and conditions. SyntheticSwap is not responsible for the liquidity provider's service availability, rates, or actions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which SyntheticSwap operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any other legal remedy is sought.
