About BeethovenX
BeethovenX is a decentralized exchange on Fantom (and later Optimism) built as an authorized fork of Balancer V2. It combines Balancer's weighted pool AMM (which supports up to 8 tokens per pool with custom weights) with a Curve-style vote-escrow governance model. BEETS is the native token; users can lock BEETS to receive fBEETS (Fantom BEETS), which grants boosted rewards and governance voting rights. BeethovenX became Fantom's primary DEX and diversified to Optimism as Fantom's ecosystem matured. The protocol is music-themed with pool names and UI elements based on classical music.
