About Dymension

Dymension (DYM) is a modular blockchain ecosystem enabling easy deployment of RollApps — application-specific rollups that use Dymension Hub for settlement and IBC for interoperability. The Dymension Hub acts as a coordination layer: RollApps post state roots to the Hub, which provides shared security and IBC connectivity. RollApps can be custom EVM chains, Cosmos chains, or other VMs. DYM is the native token used for gas fees, validator staking, and governance. Dymension launched in early 2024 with a large airdrop to ATOM, Celestia, and Ethereum users.

How to Swap DYM

Swapping Dymension (DYM) on SyntheticSwap is easy and requires no account or KYC. DYM is part of the Cosmos ecosystem, supported by Keplr, Leap Wallet, Cosmostation, and Ledger. Select DYM in SyntheticSwap, choose your target asset, provide a receiving wallet address, and confirm the exchange rate. After sending DYM to the deposit address, the destination asset is automatically delivered to your wallet once the IBC or on-chain transaction is confirmed.

How to Store DYM

DYM is stored in Keplr, Leap, or any Cosmos-compatible wallet. Being Cosmos SDK-based, DYM integrates with the standard Cosmos wallet ecosystem and supports Ledger via Keplr.
