About Harmony
Harmony (ONE) is a sharded blockchain designed for decentralized applications and cross-chain finance, achieving 2-second finality and 1,000+ TPS through state sharding and Effective Proof of Stake consensus. Launched in 2019, Harmony uses a Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerant (PBFT) variant called Fast Byzantine Fault Tolerance (FBFT) to achieve low-latency consensus. The network is EVM-compatible, allowing Ethereum developers to deploy applications with minimal modifications. ONE is the native token used for staking, transaction fees, and governance. Harmony suffered a major bridge hack in 2022 but continues developing its ecosystem.

How to Swap ONE
Swapping Harmony (ONE) on SyntheticSwap is simple and requires no registration or KYC. Connect your personal crypto wallet, select ONE as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and confirm the live exchange rate. Once you send ONE to the deposit address provided, SyntheticSwap processes the exchange automatically and delivers the destination asset directly to your wallet. No personal information is collected — fully non-custodial from start to finish.
How to Store ONE
ONE is stored in Harmony-compatible wallets. 1Wallet (formerly Math Wallet for Harmony) and Metamask configured for the Harmony network (chainId 1666600000, RPC: https://api.harmony.one) are primary options. Trust Wallet supports ONE natively. Ledger hardware wallets support ONE via the Harmony Ledger app. Harmony uses Ethereum-compatible ONE addresses.
