About Linear Finance
Linear Finance is a cross-chain compatible DeFi protocol that enables creation and trading of synthetic assets (called Liquids or ℓAssets) representing real-world assets including stocks, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies. Unlike Synthetix on Ethereum, Linear Finance built primarily on BNB Chain for lower fees and faster transactions, making synthetic asset trading more accessible. Users pledge LINA as collateral to mint ℓUSD (Linear's USD stablecoin), which is then used to buy and trade synthetic assets with zero slippage against oracle prices. LINA is the protocol's governance and collateral token.
