About Liquity
Liquity (LQTY) is a decentralized borrowing protocol allowing users to draw 0-interest loans against ETH collateral, paying only a one-time borrowing fee. LUSD is Liquity's USD stablecoin — algorithmically stable with a $1 hard floor (ETH can always be redeemed for $1 of LUSD) and a soft ceiling via redemptions. Uniquely, Liquity's contracts are immutable and non-upgradeable — no admin keys exist. LQTY captures protocol revenue from borrowing fees, distributed to Stability Pool depositors and liquidity providers. Liquity v2 launched in 2024 with multi-collateral support.

How to Swap LQTY
Exchanging Liquity (LQTY) on SyntheticSwap is straightforward and requires no registration or identity verification. LQTY is an ERC-20 token built on Ethereum, so you can use MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, or any other Ethereum-compatible wallet to send and receive it. Select LQTY in the SyntheticSwap interface, choose your destination coin, enter a receiving address, and confirm the rate. Your swap processes automatically — the destination token arrives in your wallet once the Ethereum transaction is confirmed.
How to Store LQTY
LQTY (ERC-20) is stored in MetaMask, Ledger, or any Ethereum wallet. LQTY staking for protocol revenue occurs through Liquity's frontend interface.
