About Mode Network
Mode Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built on the OP Stack that focuses on sharing sequencer revenue and DeFi yield with users and developers. Unlike standard rollups that keep all sequencer fees, Mode distributes a portion of revenue to protocols and users who contribute to the network's activity. Mode's Native Yield feature allows ETH and stablecoin deposits to earn yield automatically through underlying DeFi strategies. The Developer Fee Share program rewards dApp builders with a portion of fees their applications generate — creating aligned incentives between the L2 and its ecosystem. MODE is the network's native governance token used for voting on network parameters and fee distribution policies.

How to Swap MODE
Swapping Mode Network (MODE) on SyntheticSwap is quick and requires no account or KYC. Since MODE is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, any Ethereum-compatible wallet works — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, or Ledger Live. Open SyntheticSwap, select MODE as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and review the floating exchange rate. Once you send MODE to the deposit address provided, the destination asset is delivered directly to your wallet. The process is fully non-custodial — SyntheticSwap never holds your tokens at any point.
How to Store MODE
Store MODE in any EVM-compatible wallet: MetaMask, Ledger, or Trezor configured for Mode Network. MODE is an ERC-20 token on Mode's L2.
