About Pax Dollar
Pax Dollar (USDP, formerly Paxos Standard or PAX) is a regulated US dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos Trust Company, a New York-regulated financial institution. Each USDP is backed 1:1 by US dollars held in FDIC-insured accounts or US Treasury bills. Paxos publishes monthly attestation reports verified by independent accountants to confirm full backing. As one of the first regulated stablecoins, USDP offered an alternative to Tether with transparent reserve management. Paxos also issues BUSD (for Binance) and PAX Gold (PAXG) using the same regulatory framework.

How to Swap USDP
Swapping Pax Dollar (USDP) on SyntheticSwap is quick and requires no account or KYC. Since USDP is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, any Ethereum-compatible wallet works — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, or Ledger Live. Open SyntheticSwap, select USDP as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and review the floating exchange rate. Once you send USDP to the deposit address provided, the destination asset is delivered directly to your wallet. The process is fully non-custodial — SyntheticSwap never holds your tokens at any point.
How to Store USDP
Store USDP in any ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask, Ledger, or Trust Wallet. USDP maintains a stable $1 value and works across all Ethereum DeFi protocols.
