About Prisma Finance
Prisma Finance is a decentralized stablecoin protocol that allows users to mint mkUSD by depositing Ethereum liquid staking tokens (LSTs) as collateral. Inspired by Liquity Protocol's design (immutable, no governance intervention in stability mechanism), Prisma supports multiple LSTs as collateral including stETH, rETH, cbETH, and sfrxETH. The staking yield from LST collateral helps pay down debt and maintain the peg. PRISMA is the governance token used to direct PRISMA emissions to stability pools and vaults. Prisma uses a vote-escrow system (vePRISMA) for governance weight.
