About Puffer Finance
Puffer Finance (PUFFER) is a native liquid restaking protocol on Ethereum designed to promote validator decentralization. Puffer allows anyone to run an Ethereum validator node with minimal ETH through permissionless bonds — node operators need only 1-2 ETH vs the standard 32 ETH, with the rest provided by liquid stakers. Users deposit ETH to receive pufETH (liquid restaking token) that earns Ethereum staking rewards plus EigenLayer restaking yield. Puffer uses Secure-Signer (anti-slashing protection) to reduce slash risk for operators. PUFFER token governs the protocol and was distributed via airdrop to early depositors.
