About RSK Infrastructure Framework
RIF (RSK Infrastructure Framework) is a suite of open, decentralized infrastructure protocols built on top of RSK, a Bitcoin sidechain supporting smart contracts. RSK enables Turing-complete smart contracts secured by Bitcoin's proof-of-work through merged mining. RIF provides a layer of infrastructure services above RSK: RIF Name Service (RNS) for human-readable blockchain addresses, RIF Storage for decentralized file storage, RIF Communications for secure messaging, RIF Marketplace for decentralized service exchange, and Lumino (a payment network). RIF aims to make Bitcoin-secured smart contract infrastructure as easy to use as traditional internet services. The RIF token is used to pay for all services in the RIF ecosystem.

How to Swap RIF
Swapping RSK Infrastructure Framework (RIF) on SyntheticSwap requires no registration or KYC. RIF runs on its own blockchain, supported by dedicated wallets. Open SyntheticSwap, select RIF as source or destination, enter your receiving wallet address, and confirm the floating rate. Send RIF from your personal wallet to the deposit address shown — once your transaction is confirmed on the network, the destination asset is automatically delivered to your specified wallet. Fully non-custodial.
How to Store RIF
Store RIF in the RIF Wallet (official), MetaMask configured for RSK/Rootstock network, or Ledger with RSK app. RIF is RSK's native ERC-20-compatible token.
