About SpiritSwap
SpiritSwap (SPIRIT) is the original Uniswap V2 fork AMM on Fantom Opera. As one of the first decentralized exchanges on Fantom, SpiritSwap provided liquidity and swapping for Fantom's DeFi ecosystem. SPIRIT token holders can lock tokens as inSPIRIT (vote-escrowed SPIRIT) to earn protocol fees and vote on gauge emissions for liquidity incentives. SpiritSwap competed with SpookySwap as the primary DEX on Fantom, supporting the growth of the Fantom DeFi ecosystem during the 2021 DeFi bull run. The protocol has since evolved to maintain relevance on the Sonic blockchain.
