About Tenet
Tenet is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain that introduces Diversified Proof of Stake (DiPoS), a novel consensus mechanism that uses liquid staking tokens (LSTs) like stETH, rETH, and LsETH as validator collateral. By allowing validators to stake liquid staking derivatives, Tenet unlocks additional utility for these assets while providing validators with continued staking yield from their LST collateral. The TENET token is the native gas and governance token, while LST holders gain additional yield by securing Tenet.
