Its key innovation is single-sided liquidity provision — LPs can deposit a single stablecoin without needing to provide a matching pair. Wombat uses a novel open multi-pool design where multiple pools can share liquidity for the same asset, dramatically improving capital efficiency. The protocol also has veWOM (vote-escrowed WOM) governance and a 'Boosted Pools' feature that allows partner protocols to create incentivized pools for their stablecoins.
