About Horizen
Horizen (ZEN) is a privacy-focused blockchain platform that uses zk-SNARKs for shielded transactions and a unique sidechain technology called Zendoo to enable scalable, purpose-built blockchains secured by the Horizen main chain. Originally launched as ZClassic (a Bitcoin/Zcash fork), it rebranded to ZenCash and then Horizen. The platform's node system is unique: Super Nodes earn 10% of block rewards for providing network services, while Secure Nodes earn 10% for operating encrypted communications. Horizen's EVM-compatible Zendoo sidechain (EON) allows Ethereum smart contracts to run on a Horizen-secured sidechain.

How to Swap ZEN
Exchanging Horizen (ZEN) on SyntheticSwap requires no account creation or identity documents. Open SyntheticSwap, choose ZEN as your source or target coin, provide your destination wallet address, and review the floating rate displayed. After sending ZEN from your personal wallet to the deposit address, the swap processes automatically and your chosen asset is delivered directly to your wallet. SyntheticSwap never holds your funds at any point during the process.

Cobalt (browser extension) provides lightweight access. Ledger hardware wallets support ZEN. Exodus wallet also supports ZEN. For EON (EVM sidechain), MetaMask can be configured with the EON network RPC.
