About Cosmos
Cosmos (ATOM) is a decentralized network of independent, scalable, and interoperable blockchains — often called the 'Internet of Blockchains.' Founded by Jae Kwon and Ethan Buchman, Cosmos addresses the fragmentation problem in crypto by enabling different blockchains to communicate and exchange value through the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. The Cosmos Hub was the first blockchain in the network, and ATOM is its native staking and governance token.

How to Swap ATOM
Swapping Cosmos (ATOM) on SyntheticSwap is easy and requires no account or KYC. ATOM is part of the Cosmos ecosystem, supported by Keplr, Leap Wallet, Cosmostation, and Ledger. Select ATOM in SyntheticSwap, choose your target asset, provide a receiving wallet address, and confirm the exchange rate. After sending ATOM to the deposit address, the destination asset is automatically delivered to your wallet once the IBC or on-chain transaction is confirmed.
How to Store ATOM
Cosmos ATOM is best stored in wallets built for the Cosmos ecosystem. Keplr Wallet is the most widely used browser extension for Cosmos chains. Leap Wallet is a newer alternative with excellent multi-chain support. For maximum security, hardware wallets like Ledger support ATOM storage through the Cosmos app. You can also stake ATOM directly from most wallets to earn staking rewards.
