About Crust Network
Crust Network is a decentralized cloud storage protocol built on Substrate and integrated with the Polkadot ecosystem. It provides distributed file storage infrastructure using IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), with blockchain-based incentives for storage providers and retrieval nodes. Storage nodes stake CRU tokens as collateral and earn rewards for hosting files; retrieval nodes earn fees for serving file requests quickly. Crust's GPoS (Guaranteed Proof of Stake) consensus ties staking weight to actual storage capacity — nodes must prove they're storing meaningful data to stake more tokens.
