About Crust Network
Crust Network is a decentralized cloud storage protocol built on Substrate and integrated with the Polkadot ecosystem. It provides distributed file storage infrastructure using IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), with blockchain-based incentives for storage providers and retrieval nodes. Storage nodes stake CRU tokens as collateral and earn rewards for hosting files; retrieval nodes earn fees for serving file requests quickly. Crust's GPoS (Guaranteed Proof of Stake) consensus ties staking weight to actual storage capacity — nodes must prove they're storing meaningful data to stake more tokens. Crust provides NFT metadata hosting, dApp asset storage, and Web3 backup solutions for projects across Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot.

How to Swap CRU
Swapping Crust Network (CRU) on SyntheticSwap requires no registration or KYC. CRU is a Polkadot ecosystem token, supported by Polkadot.js extension, Talisman, SubWallet, and Ledger. Open SyntheticSwap, select CRU as your source or destination asset, provide your receiving wallet address, and confirm the floating rate. After sending CRU to the deposit address, the destination asset is automatically delivered to your wallet once the transaction is confirmed.
How to Store CRU
Store CRU in the Crust Wallet, Polkadot.js extension, or SubWallet with Polkadot parachain support.
