About Equilibrium
Equilibrium is a cross-chain money market and stablecoin protocol built as a Polkadot parachain. It enables borrowing synthetic assets, earning interest on deposits, and trading perpetuals — all within the Polkadot ecosystem with access to cross-chain assets via XCM. Equilibrium's synthetic asset system (EQD stablecoin) uses an overcollateralized model similar to MakerDAO but designed for the multi-chain Polkadot environment. The GENSHIRO token runs the Kusama (canary) version, while EQ powers the Polkadot mainnet. Equilibrium differentiates itself through portfolio margining — all deposited assets in an account act as cross-collateral, allowing traders to maximize capital efficiency across multiple positions simultaneously.

How to Swap EQ
