About Euler Finance
Euler Finance (EUL) is a permissionless lending protocol on Ethereum that allows anyone to list any token as a borrowable/lendable asset — unlike Aave and Compound which require governance approval. Euler introduced novel features including reactive interest rates, multi-collateral stability pools, and asset tiers (isolated, cross, collateral). In March 2023, Euler suffered a $197M flash loan exploit — one of the largest DeFi hacks. Remarkably, the attacker returned nearly all funds and Euler relaunched as Euler v2.

How to Swap EUL
Exchanging Euler Finance (EUL) on SyntheticSwap is straightforward and requires no registration or identity verification. EUL is an ERC-20 token built on Ethereum, so you can use MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, or any other Ethereum-compatible wallet to send and receive it. Select EUL in the SyntheticSwap interface, choose your destination coin, enter a receiving address, and confirm the rate. Your swap processes automatically — the destination token arrives in your wallet once the Ethereum transaction is confirmed.
How to Store EUL
EUL (ERC-20) is stored in MetaMask, Ledger, or any Ethereum wallet. For lending and borrowing on Euler v2, visit app.euler.finance. Hardware wallets secure EUL holdings.
