About Fuel Network
Fuel Network (FUEL) is a modular execution layer for Ethereum using a custom virtual machine (FuelVM) and UTXO-based transaction model for high-performance parallel processing. Unlike EVM which processes transactions sequentially, FuelVM's UTXO model identifies transaction dependencies upfront and processes non-conflicting transactions in parallel. Fuel uses Sway (a Rust-like language) for smart contracts and strict type safety. The mainnet launched in 2024 with an airdrop to testnet participants. Fuel competes with other high-performance execution layers like Monad while offering full EVM compatibility through tooling.

How to Swap FUEL
Swapping Fuel Network (FUEL) on SyntheticSwap is quick and requires no account or KYC. Since FUEL is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, any Ethereum-compatible wallet works — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, or Ledger Live. Open SyntheticSwap, select FUEL as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and review the floating exchange rate. Once you send FUEL to the deposit address provided, the destination asset is delivered directly to your wallet. The process is fully non-custodial — SyntheticSwap never holds your tokens at any point.
How to Store FUEL
FUEL (ERC-20 on Ethereum, native on Fuel Network) is stored in MetaMask, Ledger, or any Ethereum wallet. Bridge FUEL to Fuel Network using the official bridge.
