About Gyroscope Protocol

Gyroscope Protocol is a stablecoin system designed for robustness in extreme market conditions. GYD (Gyroscope Dollar) is its stablecoin backed by diversified reserve vaults of different asset types and protocols — no single failure can drain the entire reserve. Instead of a single collateral type (like DAI's ETH dependency), Gyroscope holds many uncorrelated assets. The protocol also uses a novel AMM (E-CLP — Elliptic Concentrated Liquidity Pool) for efficient GYD trading. GYFI is the governance token controlling reserve allocations and protocol parameters.

How to Swap GYD

Exchanging Gyroscope Protocol (GYD) on SyntheticSwap is simple and needs no account or identity check. GYD is a multi-chain token primarily on Ethereum, supported by MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Ledger Live. Select GYD in the swap interface, pick your desired output asset, provide a receiving wallet address, and review the live exchange rate. Your swap settles automatically after your GYD deposit is confirmed — the destination token is sent directly to your wallet without delay.

How to Store GYD

Store GYD in MetaMask or any Ethereum-compatible wallet. GYD can be held as a stablecoin directly or used in Gyroscope's E-CLP liquidity pools.
