About Notional Finance
Notional Finance is a fixed-rate, fixed-term lending and borrowing protocol on Ethereum. Unlike variable-rate protocols like Aave and Compound, Notional allows users to borrow and lend ETH, WBTC, USDC, and DAI at fixed rates for defined loan terms (3 months, 6 months, 1 year). This is achieved through fCash — a zero-coupon bond token representing a claim to a fixed amount of a currency at a specific maturity date. Lenders buy fCash at a discount and receive face value at maturity; borrowers mint and sell fCash to receive funds immediately. NOTE is the governance token controlling protocol parameters and fee allocation.

How to Swap NOTE
Swapping Notional Finance (NOTE) on SyntheticSwap requires no registration or KYC. NOTE operates across multiple chains including Ethereum, making it compatible with MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, and most major Web3 wallets. Open SyntheticSwap, select NOTE as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and confirm the floating rate. After sending NOTE to the provided deposit address, the destination asset is delivered directly to your wallet. No personal information is ever collected — fully non-custodial.
How to Store NOTE
Store NOTE in MetaMask, Rainbow, or any Ethereum-compatible wallet. Hardware wallets like Ledger provide the most secure NOTE storage.
