About Platypus Finance
Platypus Finance is a novel stablecoin AMM on Avalanche that introduces a 'single-sided' liquidity model where providers deposit only one type of stablecoin rather than a pair. This solves the problem of impermanent loss from stablecoin price divergence. The protocol uses a coverage ratio mechanism to maintain soft pegs and dynamically adjusts fees to incentivize balance. PTP is the governance token used for directing liquidity incentives and platform governance, while vePTP (vote-escrowed PTP) provides boosted rewards.
