About Polymath

Polymath is the leading blockchain infrastructure for security token issuance and management. Security tokens are blockchain representations of regulated financial assets — equity, debt, real estate, funds — that incorporate compliance rules directly into smart contracts. Polymath built the ERC-1400 security token standard for Ethereum and later created Polymesh, a purpose-built blockchain for regulated securities with identity verification, compliance, and governance built at the protocol level. Polymesh implements a permissioned validator set where participants must pass KYC/AML checks, enabling securities regulation compliance impossible on permissionless chains. POLY was the original Ethereum token that can be converted to POLYX (Polymesh's native token).

Polymesh mainnet launches — purpose-built blockchain for regulated securities with built-in compliance.
2022
POLY to POLYX migration begins; Polymesh gains traction with institutional security token issuers.
2023

How to Swap POLY

Exchanging Polymath (POLY) on SyntheticSwap is straightforward and requires no registration or identity verification. POLY is an ERC-20 token built on Ethereum, so you can use MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, or any other Ethereum-compatible wallet to send and receive it. Select POLY in the SyntheticSwap interface, choose your destination coin, enter a receiving address, and confirm the rate. Your swap processes automatically — the destination token arrives in your wallet once the Ethereum transaction is confirmed.

How to Store POLY

Store POLY in any Ethereum-compatible wallet: MetaMask, Ledger, or Trezor. POLY is an ERC-20 token. For POLYX (Polymesh native), use the Polymesh Wallet.
