About Pons
Pons (PONS) is the token of the Pons launchpad on Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum layer-2 network launched by Robinhood on 1 July 2026 for tokenised stocks and DeFi. Pons works much like Pump.fun on Solana: anyone can create a token with a fixed one-billion supply and no code, and it trades immediately in a pool. About 80% of the platform's revenue is used to buy back and burn PONS, which had reduced the original one-billion supply by roughly 29% within two months of launch.
PONS started trading around 15 July 2026 and became the largest token on Robinhood Chain by market value during the network's first summer. It is a young, thinly traded asset whose liquidity moves fast; treat quotes as valid only at the moment you see them, and never send more than the amount shown in the form.
On SyntheticSwap, PONS deposits are credited after 10 confirmations on Robinhood Chain (about ten seconds). Receiving PONS requires a wallet configured for Robinhood Chain — a standard 0x address, but on that network specifically.
Before you swap PONS: what to check
- •Receiving address format: 0x… (42 characters) on Robinhood Chain.
- •Network: Robinhood Chain. PONS exists on one network here; make sure your wallet sends on it.
- •Deposit confirmations: 10 on Robinhood Chain (block time ~1 second). The rate is locked when the deposit confirms, not when you broadcast.
- •Limits: minimum and maximum are shown in the form for each pair and change with fees and liquidity.
- •Moving it later: sending PONS onward from Robinhood Chain needs a little ETH (on Robinhood Chain) in the same wallet.
- •Tracking: the status page shows each stage; deposits and payouts can be checked on robinhoodchain.blockscout.com.
How the Pons launchpad works
Pons follows the launchpad model established on Solana: a creator gives a token a name, the platform deploys it with a fixed one-billion supply and no custom code, and trading begins at once in a pool. What distinguishes Pons is where it runs — Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum layer 2 launched in July 2026 — and its token economics: most platform revenue is used to buy PONS on the market and burn it, so the circulating supply falls as activity rises. That mechanism, not any utility inside the platform, is what links the token's value to usage.
Because Robinhood Chain is an EVM layer 2, everything looks like Ethereum: 0x addresses, gas paid in ETH, standard wallets. The difference is the network setting — a transaction sent on Ethereum mainnet to the same 0x address does not touch your Robinhood Chain balance.
Swapping a young, thin token: practical rules
PONS is weeks old, with liquidity concentrated on one chain and a supply that changes with burns. Three rules apply that matter less for BTC or USDT: the quote in the form is good only at that moment, so send immediately after creating the swap; send exactly the amount shown, because a different amount is recalculated at the live rate; and keep swaps to sizes the pair's live maximum comfortably allows, because depth is limited. Deposits are credited after 10 confirmations on Robinhood Chain, about ten seconds, so the swap itself is fast — the risk is price, not time.
Pons history
- 2026Robinhood Chain launches on 1 July; Pons goes live and PONS begins trading around 15 July, later flipping CashCat as the chain's largest token.
How to swap PONS
- In the form above, choose the direction: PONS (Robinhood Chain) to the coin you want, or the other way round.
- Enter the amount — the estimated amount you receive updates live; minimums are shown in the form.
- Paste the receiving address and, optionally, a refund address.
- Click “Swap now” and send exactly the shown amount to the deposit address from any wallet you control.
- After 10 confirmations the payout is sent; track it on the status page. No account, no KYC.
How to store PONS
Use an EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby) with Robinhood Chain added as a network. The address format is the usual 0x, but PONS sent to the same address on Ethereum mainnet or another chain will not appear in your Robinhood Chain balance.
