About Silo Finance
Silo Finance is an isolated lending protocol that creates separate lending markets (Silos) for each asset pair, containing risk from bad or exploited assets. In traditional lending pools like Aave or Compound, one vulnerable asset can drain the entire pool if exploited. Silo's architecture ensures that each token has its own isolated lending market paired with a bridge asset (ETH or USDC), so problems with one token only affect that Silo's participants. This allows Silo to safely list riskier or newer tokens that other protocols can't support. SILO is the governance token for protocol management.
