About Sommelier

Sommelier (SOMM) is a DeFi protocol that runs automated investment vaults. Unlike static DeFi vaults, Sommelier vaults are dynamically managed by strategists who submit rebalancing logic off-chain, while actual fund movements happen on-chain via Ethereum smart contracts. The Sommelier chain acts as a coordination layer that authorizes vault rebalancing without ever taking custody of user funds. Vaults target strategies like concentrated liquidity management (Uniswap V3), leveraged staking, and yield optimization. SOMM is the governance and staking token for the Sommelier chain validators.
