About TrueUSD
TrueUSD (TUSD) is a fully collateralized USD stablecoin that pioneered real-time on-chain attestations of reserves. Unlike USDT which faced transparency concerns, TUSD publishes live reserve attestations via smart contracts. Each TUSD is backed 1:1 by USD held in escrow accounts by TrustToken (now Archblock). TUSD was acquired by Binance and later Justin Sun's entities, leading to expanded distribution. It's available on multiple chains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, and Avalanche. TUSD is used for trading pairs on major exchanges and as stable value storage.
