About Avail
Avail is a modular data availability (DA) layer designed as the foundation for rollup-centric blockchain architectures. In modular blockchain design, DA is separated from execution and consensus — rollups post transaction data to a DA layer and only need to verify data is available without downloading everything. Avail uses KZG polynomial commitments and Data Availability Sampling (DAS) to allow light clients to verify with high probability that data is available by only downloading small random samples. Originally incubated within Polygon, Avail spun out as an independent company in 2023. The platform aims to serve as the DA layer for Ethereum rollups, application-specific chains, and sovereign rollups seeking cheaper alternatives to Ethereum calldata or blobs. AVAIL is used for staking, gas fees, and governance.

How to Swap AVAIL
Swapping Avail (AVAIL) on SyntheticSwap is simple and requires no registration or KYC. Connect your personal crypto wallet, select AVAIL as your source or destination asset, enter your receiving wallet address, and confirm the live exchange rate. Once you send AVAIL to the deposit address provided, SyntheticSwap processes the exchange automatically and delivers the destination asset directly to your wallet. No personal information is collected — fully non-custodial from start to finish.
How to Store AVAIL
Store AVAIL in SubWallet or Talisman wallet (Substrate-based). AVAIL is also available as an ERC-20 bridge token on Ethereum for MetaMask or Ledger storage.
