About Frax

Frax (FRAX) is the first fractional-algorithmic stablecoin — partially collateralized by USDC and partially stabilized by the FXS governance token. The collateral ratio dynamically adjusts: when FRAX demand is high, less collateral is needed; when trust is low, more collateral backs the peg. Frax has evolved into a DeFi ecosystem including frxETH (liquid staking ETH derivative), sFRAX (yield-bearing FRAX), and Fraxlend (lending protocol). Frax v3 aims to make FRAX fully collateralized. The Frax ecosystem pioneered several influential DeFi mechanisms including liquidity bribing (Votium) and gauge systems.

How to Swap FRAX

Exchanging Frax (FRAX) on SyntheticSwap is simple and needs no account or identity check. FRAX is a multi-chain token primarily on Ethereum, supported by MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Ledger Live. Select FRAX in the swap interface, pick your desired output asset, provide a receiving wallet address, and review the live exchange rate. Your swap settles automatically after your FRAX deposit is confirmed — the destination token is sent directly to your wallet without delay.

How to Store FRAX

FRAX (ERC-20) is stored in MetaMask, Ledger, or any Ethereum wallet. FRAX is available on multiple chains — Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and others.
